I didn’t really mean for the painting to come out so pristine-ish (note the perfectly rounded left tree). However, I’ve grown to love the fairytale quality – a place of perfection where nothing can go wrong.

Thinking about Mexico

I recently returned from a trip to Cabo and loved my interactions with the people of Mexico. I was reminded of the piece I painted several years ago from a photograph of a friend’s family. By the way, I’m against the wall.

For My Grandson

I painted this two years ago while waiting for my grandson to be born. When the joyous bundle arrived, all I had to do was fill in the name.
